About this product
ATN TECH Compound Wearing Plates combine superior wear resistance with high structural toughness. The wear layer is a high-hardness, wear-resistant alloy, while the backing plate is selected for toughness and impact resistance. The wear layer can be supplied in hardened steel or stainless steel grades.
The wear layer and backing are permanently joined by explosive welding, creating a continuous metallurgical bond across the entire interface. Finished plates are precision-machined on CNC machining centers.
